## About
HEIC to JPG is a Chrome extension that converts Apple's HEIC/HEIF image format — used by iPhones — to universally compatible JPG or PNG files entirely within the browser. Conversion is instant, private, and requires no account.

## How It Works
Drag your HEIC files from Windows Explorer or Mac Finder into the extension popup. Select your output format (JPG or PNG) and quality setting. Click Convert and the extension decodes HEIC using a JavaScript HEIC library compiled to WebAssembly. Each file downloads as a converted JPG or PNG. Batch jobs produce a ZIP with all converted files.
